Dear Abraham Lincoln, Elementary Families,

It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Abraham Lincoln Elementary School. I am honored to join the “Lion Pride” and to partner with you in continuing the strong tradition of academic excellence, care, and community that defines our school.

I bring to this role a range of experiences in education, having served as an Assistant Principal, Teacher on Assignment, and classroom teacher in Colton Joint Unified School District. Each of these opportunities has strengthened my belief that when we build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and our community, we create the conditions for every child to thrive.

My vision for Abraham Lincoln Elementary is rooted in three commitments:

Academic Excellence: Ensuring that every child is challenged and supported to achieve at their highest level.

Equity and Belonging: Creating a safe, inclusive environment where all students feel valued and respected.

Partnership: Working side by side with families, staff, and community members to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am especially passionate about helping our students see themselves as lifelong learners, preparing them not only for middle and high school, but also for the wide range of opportunities that await them in college, careers, and beyond. Together, we will continue to align our practices with district goals while focusing on what matters most—our students’ success and well-being.

I look forward to meeting each of you, learning your stories, and working collaboratively to make Lincoln Elementary the best it can be. Our children deserve nothing less.
